Although water will not be the primary fuel used, a water powered car can be a genuine solution to our dependence on expensive oil.

While water fueled cars may sound like something out of a science-fiction book, the principles behind this procedure come out of a high school chemistry book. By passing an electric current through water, the individual atoms of hydrogen and oxygen are removed from the water, creating a compound known as HHO. This is a type of gas commonly known as Brown gas that can be burned cleanly while supplying a stable source of energy.

Once produced, the Brown gas is directed to the airflow that is located in the intake manifold of the car’s engine. After this, it is mixed with the gasoline and both fuels are combusted or burned together, creating the power needed to drive the car.
